Mark took another 2 on the tenth but despite Hook taking 3 on the eleventh and 1 on the last end it wasn’t enough to close the gap and Mark took the win. Theresa and Fran played pairs and also started well with 2 on the first and 1 on the second. East Williamston were holding 3 on the third but Hook’s last bowl pinched shot to take 1. 1 more to the home side on the fourth, followed by 1 to Hook on the fifth and another to East Williamston on the sixth. Steve T, Cheryl, Gwyneth and Phill E played Rinks, also winning the first end with 1. Hook took the next two ends with 2 but East Williamston came straight back to take 1 on the fourth and 1 on the fifth to nudge into the lead. On the final end East Williamston were holding 1 and just needed the skip to draw in for 2. Unfortunately the shot was heavy and it clipped the jack away from the holding East Williamston bowl and took it back to an awaiting Hook bowl, to give them 1 and the win.
